Olympique Marseille is one of the greatest clubs in the French football. Despite its achievement in the past ten years is not as great compared to Lyon or PSG; Marseille once considered the world's best team that dominated the European football in the early 90s. At that time, the club was coached by Franz Beckenbauer and had a team consist of the world's best players.

15. Samir Nasri

Before moving to the Premier League and playing for Arsenal and Manchester City, Samir Nasri started his career at Marseille. The attacking midfielder is a product of Marseille Youth Academy and made his debut as a professional footballer in 2004.
